So … about AVN ‘08
Thursday, January 31st, 2008It sure did go by fast this year…. One second I’m eagerly awaiting the super-fun, crazy, completely draining week and the next second it’s over…. I have to say it seems to have gotten a bit smaller… Less booths & fans… Which saddens me since I find the whole convention a great thing… I adore meeting fans and taking pics….AVN/AEE is THE event that I go all out on… I spend anywhere from $12,000-$20,000 on my outfits for the signings, parties & awards. I love getting dressed up and teasing the crowds of fans & press…. Sigh…. Hopefully it will be bigger next year…
Anyhow, Tuesday night Joanna and I went to dinner and had a great time catching up & drinking yummy wine… got a little tipsy.. went back to the room and snuggled with my love (Jules)…The next day was the first day of signing.
Wednesday-It was trade only.. I picked a white blazer with gold buttons, a gold & white beaded bra & tight blue jeans to strut my stuff in. Dior gold & white heels & a gold coach bag with gold tiffany jewelry completed the look…Yummy!!! I signed for 6 hours and did TONS of interviews… Saw lots of friends: Derek Dozer, Mr. Marcus, Marie Luv, Eva Angelina, Tera Patrick, Charmane Star, Cassidey, Joanna (Angel), Jesse Jane, Monique Alexander, Kirsten Price….Whew! I think that night we decided to take it easy and stay in….One day down! 3 to go! 
Thursday- Fans & Trade….My outfit for this day was Frankie B. blue jeans, a custom white waist cincher & bra from Trashy, Dior belt heels & bag… SUPER yummy! The day was busier than the previous… I did about 5 hours of signing. By the end I was dying to get out of the waist cincher! Ugh… My ribs were killing me and it was getting really hard to breathe comfortably..But I got to see Belladonna, Bree Olson, Lex, Joanna (again yay!), Teagan Presley & Celeste Star! As soon as I was done signing and stuff I ripped the rib crusher off and threw on a Jules Jordan Video shirt.. Ahhh better! I went up to the room and chilled for a few with friends then grabbed some food and went out to TAO for the Tera Patrick Party… This club is always a bit hectic to get into.. No matter who you are or whos party it is. After all the dicking around we finally got upstairs and seated at a table with some friends. Nice! Drank up a couple bottles of PJ champagne and kissed a cute chick… watched the fashion show.. Can’t complain! Then it was time to head back to the room and get some beauty rest…Zzzzzzz….
Friday- Fans & Trade….My slutty outfit day! Yay! I decided to pay a little homage to my roots! lol I will always be the schoolgirl… It is kinda part of who I am.. Anyhow Trashy made this hot little blue prep schoolgirl shirt and vest.. Adorable.. My makeup artist Nichole rocked the french braided pigtails… Hot! This was definitely the most fun outfit to tease in…Saw my Vagtastic partner Matthew along with other porn co-workers (:-p) Rebeca Linares, Evan Stone, Van Styles, Casey Parker, Tory Lane & Randy West..I signed for about 5 hours again.. taking tons of pics and signing stacks of autographs…
I was exhausted but still had stuff to do.. Joanna & I had to head over to Mandalay Bay for the AVN Awards rehersal…We were starving so we had the taxi guy take us to Subway to get something to eat… we got to the events center and each waited for our turn to go through the motions of presenting awards. I got to present with Belladonna & Ron Jeremy. Pretty cool! Anhow Jo had stuff to do so I caught a ride with Bella & Aiden back to the Venetian.. They invited Jules & I out to dinner that night with then and we decided to go.. Very fun dinner! James Gunn & Bobbi Star joined as well as two other cool guys whos’ names I dont recall. We drank good wine and tasty food… Relaxing fun… Bedtime!
Saturday (the big day!)- Mostly fans! I splurged on an amazing crystal covered dress to sign it.. It was green and gorgeous….I loved it and my makeup kicked ass! I also finally got to wear those Guiseppe Zannottis I bought forever ago…. Saturday was definitely the busiest day.. Crazy!!! I busted my ass signing/pics & interviews again for 5 hours straight… I had my friend Jon escort me to the restroom when I was done and the wouldnt let us back up to the signing floor.. the security was being an asshole and kept saying I had to show them my badge.. well my badge was back at the JJV booth with my body guard.. so was my phone..ugh.. after arguing with the guy for a while we finally just walked around him and kept walking… Jerk! I had to then rush to my room to shower and wipe all the makeup off .. just to then have to rush to makeup to get ready for the awards!
THE AWARDS: Yikes! Talk about being nervous… Actually I shouldn’t have been .. everything went smooth… We went over in limos… Did the red carpet… Got to our table..the show started.. Zero Tolerance & I tied for “Interactive Sex With Jenna Haze” with Hustler & Tera Patrick for Best Interactive DVD… Then Manuel & I won for Best Couples Sex Scene for our performance in Evil Anal 2. YAY!!!!! I was so happy… I got to go up twice to accept….I went back to my table and watched more of the show with Jules…. after that I got to present with Bella & Ron… Then all the nominees for POTY had to go and sit up in the front row…. and wait… and they didn’t call my name.. the called Sasha Grey… Oh well… Maybe next year.. Congrats Sasha! Jules won about 4 after that and two of his directors won stuff.. Gina won one too! very cool!
After the awards we went and changed at the hotel then headed to an after party at The Empire Ballroom…stayed there for a bit… then headed back to the hotel to eat… finally got to bed at like 5 -6 am..UGH!
The next day was Sunday and Jules & I, Travis & Gina all went to a dinner and a party with our webmasters…. We were exhausted still and couldn’t stay out long… Went back to the Venetian and crashed…
So… there ya go… That was quite the blog huh? Wow! Well I am very proud of what I won and had a pretty great time overall…. Until next year AVN/AEE ‘09
